Best AI Sticker Generators in 2026

Nov 5, 2026GIF Generator AIGIF Generator AI

The best AI sticker generator depends on animation, free tier and transparency. We compared 7 tools on what they make and what they cost in November 2026.

The best AI sticker generator depends on what you need: an animated sticker, a free try, a transparent PNG or a print-ready cutout. Of the seven tools below, only ours makes animated stickers. The other six make still images, and most have some free option. Here is what each one makes and what it costs, with prices checked in November 2026.

Disclosure: we make GIF Generator AI, which is on this list. We read each tool's own pages on 2026-11-05. Where a page did not say something, we write "not stated" or "see site" instead of guessing.

Best AI sticker generators at a glance

The tools are ordered by one rule: the one that makes animated stickers first, then still-image tools from the most free to the most paid. That is an order of features, not a ranking of quality.

ToolAnimated?Transparent?From a photo?Free tierStarting price
GIF Generator AIYes, 320 px GIFYesYesNone$4.99 for 40 credits, one time
LlamaGenNot statedNot statedNot statedYes, limits not stated$18 a month ($14 a month billed yearly)

"Not stated" means the tool's own page did not say, not that the answer is no. We left out NightCafe and OpenArt because we found no dedicated AI sticker generator on their sites, and Canva because we did not find a standalone one either.

GIF Generator AI

GIF Generator AI draws a sticker from one sentence using OpenAI's GPT-Image-2.6. It makes two kinds. The animated one is a transparent 320x320 GIF of 8, 12 or 16 frames, costing 1 credit in Standard and 2 in HD. The still one is a transparent PNG sticker at 1024 px, also 1 credit in Standard. An optional white die-cut border is added by the sticker page, and the photo to GIF page turns a picture of your pet or a product into a sticker.

Limits: there is no free tier, because every sticker runs a paid model. Animated stickers are short, at most 16 frames, and photo-real subjects make bigger files than drawn ones.

Price: credit packs are $4.99 for 40 credits, $9.99 for 100, $24.99 for 300 and $49.99 for 700. Credits never expire and there is no subscription. In the smallest pack a Standard sticker costs about $0.12. See pricing.

Best for: animated stickers and Discord emoji, for people who would rather pay per sticker than per month. Example prompt: "A paper boat rocks on tiny waves, flat vector style, thick white border, transparent background, seamless loop."

LlamaGen

LlamaGen's sticker page calls itself a "free online AI sticker generator" and makes images from text. Its examples are vector-style illustrations, and a separate background remover is listed for "transparent PNG stickers". Nothing on the page mentions animation.

Limits: the page does not state free limits, transparency of the generated sticker or photo input.

Price: the pricing page shows the cheapest paid plan, Standard, at $18 a month, or $172.80 billed annually.

Best for: trying a still, illustrated sticker for free before you pay for anything.

Fotor

Fotor's AI sticker generator says you can describe a sticker in text or upload a photo and have AI turn it into one. Photo stickers involve background removal and a cutout look, but the page does not state transparency. It advertises free use without listing limits.

Limits: only still stickers are described. The pricing page we read showed placeholders instead of prices, so we cannot quote one.

Price: see site. The free plan lists "limited free credits".

Best for: turning a photo of yourself or a friend into a sticker without paying first.

CapCut

CapCut's AI sticker generator takes a text description and a style such as 3D, Pixel or Cartoon, and makes four stickers to choose from. The page says "this feature is only available in certain regions". It mentions adding animation to stickers inside a video, but not animated generated stickers.

Limits: region limits, and no statement on transparency, photo input or free limits.

Price: see site.

Best for: people who already edit video in CapCut and want a sticker to drop into a clip.

Picsart

Picsart's AI sticker maker generates stickers from text prompts and exports PNG, JPG or PDF. The FAQ offers "limited free generations", with a subscription needed after that.

Limits: animation, transparency and photo input are not stated on the page.

Price: the pricing page shows Pro at $10.50 a month billed yearly (crossed out from $15). It lists no monthly-only price.

Best for: people who already use Picsart's editor and want stickers next to its photo tools.

Pixlr

Pixlr's sticker maker works inside Pixlr Express and generates a sticker from a text description. It "requires one AI credit to generate a single sticker", and the page suggests saving as PNG "for high quality and transparency".

Limits: the page states no free tier. Animation and photo input are not mentioned.

Price: on the pricing page, Plus is $2.49 a month with 80 AI credits, or $1.99 a month billed yearly. At one credit per sticker, that is the cheapest monthly entry in this list.

Best for: low-cost still stickers if you already edit in Pixlr.

MagicShot

MagicShot's sticker maker generates "die-cut, white-border" stickers from a text prompt. The page says there are no free generations and that it is credit-based. It does not state animation, transparency or photo input.

Limits: no free sticker tries. The sticker page quotes its Premium plan at $13.30 for the first month, listed at $19.

Price: the pricing page lists Essential at $9 a month with 8,000 credits. We could not confirm which credits cover stickers, so check before you subscribe.

Best for: die-cut style stickers if you also use MagicShot's other image tools.

How to choose the best AI sticker generator

  • You need an animated sticker or a Discord emoji: GIF Generator AI is the only tool here that states animated output. Read Discord emoji size for the limits, then use the Discord GIF maker or the AI emoji generator.
  • You want to pay nothing first: try LlamaGen, Fotor or Picsart's limited free generations.
  • You want to start from a photo: Fotor and GIF Generator AI state photo input. Ours keeps the subject of your picture and makes it move.
  • You want the lowest monthly price: Pixlr Plus at $2.49.
  • You want to pay once, not monthly: GIF Generator AI sells one-time credit packs with no expiry; the others in this list use subscriptions or credits tied to a plan.
  • You want to print the sticker: use a still PNG. Ours is 1024 px; at 300 dpi that is about 3.4 inches wide.

FAQ

What is the best AI sticker generator? There is no single best one. For an animated sticker, GIF Generator AI. For a free still sticker, LlamaGen or Fotor. For the lowest subscription price, Pixlr.

Is there a free AI sticker generator? Yes. LlamaGen and Fotor advertise free use, and Picsart offers limited free generations. None of their pages states exact limits. GIF Generator AI has no free tier.

Can AI make animated stickers? Yes, but few tools do. GIF Generator AI makes a 320x320 transparent sticker GIF from text or a photo. The other six pages we read describe only still stickers.

How do I make a transparent sticker? Use a tool that exports a transparent PNG, or ask for "transparent background" in the prompt.
