Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use GIF Generator AI at gifgeneratorai.org. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

What the service does

GIF Generator AI turns a text prompt, or a photo you upload, into a looping GIF, a transparent sticker GIF or a still PNG image. It sends your prompt and photo to OpenAI's GPT-Image-2.6 through the OpenAI API. We are an independent service, not affiliated with OpenAI or Discord. We may change, pause or end features, giving notice where we reasonably can.

Your account

You need to be 13 or older. Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us quickly if you notice activity that is not yours.

What you may not make

Do not use the service to make, or attempt to make:

• sexual or nude images of anyone;
• images of children;
• images of real, recognisable people from a text prompt, or from a photo of anyone other than you who has not agreed to it; never celebrities or public figures;
• photos you have no right to use;
• characters, trademarks or logos you have no right to use;
• hateful, harassing, threatening or violent content;
• images meant to mislead, such as fake news or impersonation;
• anything illegal where you or your viewers are.

Every prompt and photo is checked before it runs, and OpenAI applies its own safety system on top. A prompt or image that is blocked costs no credits. We may remove files and close accounts that break these rules or keep trying to get past the checks.

Credits and payment

• Each generation costs credits: 1 credit for a Standard sticker GIF or still image and 2 in HD; 3 credits for a Standard 720 px GIF and 6 in HD. Current prices are on the pricing page.
• Credits are sold in one-time packs. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
• Pack credits do not expire while your account is open. They have no cash value and cannot be moved to another account.
• Credits for a failed or blocked generation come back automatically. Other refunds follow the Refund Policy.

Who owns what you make

Between you and us, the files you generate are yours as far as the law allows, for personal or commercial use, including Discord servers and sticker packs. AI output can resemble other images, and some countries do not give copyright to AI-made work, so we cannot promise a file is unique or protectable. How you use and share your files is up to you and your responsibility.

You let us store and process your prompts and files only as needed to provide the service to you.

Our property

The site, its name, design and code are ours. GPT-Image-2.6 is an OpenAI product and Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc.; both names are used only to describe what the service runs on and what files are sized for.

Ending your use

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can close yours at any time by emailing support@gifgeneratorai.org. Unused credits on an account closed for breaking the content rules are not refunded.

No guarantees

The service is provided "as is". AI results can be wrong, strange or not what you asked for, and a file's size can vary from the typical sizes we list. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

If these terms change, we update the date at the top. For important changes we also tell signed-in users on the site.
